Use of Cervisol

  • Screening for cervical cancer involves collection of the sample from the patient, storing it in a liquid, transporting it to the laboratory, conduct the analysis and also preserve the sample for any later further use.
  • LBC technology (Liquid Based Cytology) is used to develop a reagent liquid that can best help in storing and preserving the sample, which is crucial for proper testing and analysis.
  • SMS has developed a product Cervisol, that is a reagent used for storing and preserving the cervical sample for cancer detection and analysis.
