A Cardiothoracic surgeon, he completed his education at Gandhi Medical College and Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and trained in the UK. He co-founded Sahrudaya Healthcare and has performed nearly 12,000 heart surgeries, specializing in rheumatic mitral valve repair. He is a director at C Path labs and Sripath Medical Systems.
