SMS has put up a "state of the art" medical device manufacturing unit at Kushaiguda, Hyderabad. The facility can produce Class C level medical devices as per CDSCO standards. The Clean Room meets ISO 7 level specifications with dust specification. Joined with the Clean Room, it has the requisite Raw material, Finished Goods storage and dispensing facilities. The QA/QC and R&D facilities are also provided in the same complex along with the administration facilities.
The facility infrastructure along with its well trained and specialist human resource can manufacture a wide variety of medical devices (Classes A,B and C categories of CDSCO).

The R&D department is the key department spearheading research in and development of newer and newer products with innovative technologies all aimed towards improving efficacy of medical care.
The facility is also available for production of products for other companies and also in supporting other start ups and research institutes for trail run production of their products.
